Stage 1: The Brief
The first stage in the process is an initial enquiry and a client brief. During our first meeting I will be doing a lot of listening and asking a lot of questions. I want to understand exactly what you need, whether it be one poster or a full brand launch.
We outline a timeline forward, organise task delegation and plan any initial research that might be needed before we can start brainstorming.
Stage 2: The Plan
At this stage we can start to share our visions. This is a mix of moodboards, competitor analysis and research into your contemporaries so we can really hone in on the project direction.
The complexities and time spent on this stage vary based on your project size and output. Launching a brand can warrant weeks of ideation, whereas a small social campaign may only need a short meeting.
Stage 3: The Idea
Next is concept presentation. This can include sketches, storyboards, wireframes and mock ups etc.
For a large project or brand development it is common to start with three concept routes and narrow them down to one at this initial stage. We will have a feedback and refinement meeting where we narrow the concepts down to one final direction.
For a small project, where timelines are shorter, I present one direction which we can refine and tweak during this stage.
Stage 4: The Output
After the initial feedback and discussion I will develop and present a full project. Whether that be a logo, poster, website etc. If it is needed a further round of refinement or amendments can be done to develop a final output.
Stage 5: The Handover
The final stage is the project handover. I make sure that you have all the resources and files in the formats that you need.
I can also supply additional support during this time such as training to help you understand and run your new e-commerce site.
